Hi folks
I am a retired guy living near Portree with an interest inthe weather.
As a result of this I have just purchased and set up a Vantage Pro2 system which is communicating without problems with my laptop.
But! after three solid days of trying I am completely baffled as too how to set up my system to the internet so that I can report my findings online. I have read everything in sight including all the info' supplied by "Cumulas" and I am no nearer to securing my goal.
So! if there are any other likeminded folk on Skye that could offer any help in configuring my system I would be very grateful and more than happy to pay any travel costs.
If I carry on like this suicied may be my only option!!
John

We've had people posting from Skye before, but I don't know whether they're still with us.
Perhaps you could explain how far you've got and what you're having trouble with? Do you have your own web space, for example? Have you created a web site for any purpose before? Which part of the instructions don't you understand?

Heh John.
Dont give up yet.
I am happy to work you thru it.
Who is your Internet Service Provider (ISP)?
Do you have any Internet 'web space'?
The best thing to do is set up a 'web site' on your 'local' computer. When that's up and running you can put it to the ISP or a 'hosting' service.
Email me direct if you need more help.
