WEB files transferred - file size zero

Post by Olejul »

I am trying to get my Cumulus web page into operation.

The different files are transferred to the ftp server correctly as far as naming is concerned but file sizes are 0 ??

Most probably a tedious question

What options are you using (rename, etc)? It's possible that your web server doesn't like your settings, some are a bit fussy. If you turn on ftp logging, the ftplog.txt file will hopefully contain useful error messages, assuming your ftp server is returning some.

Autoupdate = True
Use active FTP mode = false
Use FTP rename = true
Delete before upload = false
Enable Realtime = true
Enable Realtime FTP = true
Realtime.txt FTP = true
Realtime interval = 5 secs

Now files are uploaded and http://www.weather-olejul.dk shows everything except gauges Wind Compass, Wind Gauge and Wind Rose - red crosses instead - same for Trends.

It doesn't look like you have created the 'images' folder on your web server?

Thanks mcrossley.

What a difference such a small difference between 'i' and 'I' can do

Now everything is OK except the Win Direction gauge.

That is a known problem with transparent backgrounds. Change to a solid background to fix it.

An alternative solution is to tweak your colours a little; but it's easier just to turn it off :)
