Real time?
The real time wind speed and direction indicators on my web site are staying at zero http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/m1byt/weather/gauges.htm.
I'm using EasyWeather and I've enabled 'Realtime' in Cumulus on the Internet settings page. Is this not supported due to EW?

It should still work, but as the easyweather.dat file only gets updated every few minutes, the realtime gauges will only get updated every few minutes.
The gauges are driven from a 'realtime.txt' file, and your site does have one (http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/m1byt/weather/realtime.txt), but it hasn't been updated since 17th August, and even then only had zeroes in it. Could you have a look at the realtime.txt file in your Cumulus installation folder to see what date and time that has in it, so I can see if it is being updated but not uploaded?

The file properties indicate it was last updated on the 17 August 2008, 10:20:27, accessed today and looking at the file with Notepad it contains the following:-

So it's not updating the file on your machine. What have you got in the 'realtime interval' setting?

I don't know if it is related, but I am also seeing all zeros in Cumulus's Recent Extremes for Yesterday. I only run EW and Cumulus intermitantly, when the PC is in use - usually most evenings.

Not related, you won't get sensible values in the daily extremes unless you run Cumulus 24 hours a day (but that might be about to change...).
Assuming you don't have zero for the 'realtime interval' could you please turn on debug logging from the Configuration menu, wait 15 minutes, then send me the debug.log file from the Cumulus installation folder (to steve@sandaysoft.com).

Yes, it occurred to me that I could determine that by looking at the source code of your gauges page. That's in seconds, and the easyweather.dat file only gets updated every 5 minutes or more, as I'm sure you know, so you could afford to increase the realtime setting considerably. It should still work though at your current setting. Hopefully the debug log will show something.

I have just tried deleting the realtime.txt and restarting Cumulus. It created a new file, and the reatime date along the bottom of my web page changed to todays date.
