Time change

Post by hurring »

Hi All
I am wondering if I need to do anything to Cumulus, weather station or computer on the weekend when we start daylight savings.
At 2am on Sunday 3rd we move our clocks forward 1 hour. My computer is set to automatically change but what about Cumulus or my station?
cheers
Adrian

Cumulus uses your PC clock, so best to leave your Cumulus running if you can. You may get a duplicate set of data for an hour (or not!)

Just missing an hour of timestamped data.

Can't remember what I did when it ended, probably checked/edited the log file the next morning.

Yep it seems to be handled OK, time just skips an hour in the data files, and the graphs showed flat-lined data between 2-3am (we went an hour forward on 26th Sep in NZ) :)
