I have an Ambient WS 2080 on order. Should I wait until I have the station installed before downloading and installing Cumulus?
It is my intent to tie my station to Wunderground's rapid fire.

Re: Newbie
You can download and install it if you wish, but it's probably best if you don't try to run it until you have a station for it to talk to.

Thanks for the reply. I will wait then.
I found the FAQ and the installation guide so I should be set to give it a whirl when I get the station installed.

It's all pretty easy - make sure you use a Fine Offset station when you select a weather station

Re: Newbie
I was wondering about that with so many post under that name . Thanks for the information.
I am excited about getting it going. Should have the unit midweek.
I opted for the larger solar shield so that should have solid temperature readings.
