New graphs?
Looking at how to add new graphs into the existing format with the thumbnails...
Easiest would be to add two new graphs to give two rows of 5 thumbnails. So, what to plot? Currently, things that immediately spring to mind:
- Outside humidity (dew point is plotted and this is related)
- Inside humidity
- Inside temperature
Options:
1. Put both humidities on one new graph and inside temp on the other new graph
2. Add outside humidity to existing outside temp/dew point graph, and have inside temp and humidity as two new graphs
3. As 2, but inside temp and humidity on one new graph, leaves one new graph unused for...?
Any thoughts or other suggestions?

Re: New graphs?
As I am a farmer I think outside humidity is the most important graph and I think opton 3 or to put outside humidity in one graph and the inside values in one graph

Re: New graphs?
My proposal:
Daily:
(like now) - wind direction
(like now) - wind speed, average & gust
(like now) - pressure (relative)
(like now) - rainfall rate
(like now) - rain today - could it be combined with the one above: rainfall rate into one graph ?
(like now) - outside temperature + dew point - wind chill might be a nice addition?
(new) - humidity outside and indoor
(new) - maybe indoor temperature ? - unless somebody else can suggest something better
Last 30 days (or current month):
(like now) - daily rain
(like now) - temperature min & max. - would like to see daily average included
(new) - rain this month / last 30 days (cumulative)

Re: New graphs?
I've added average temperature to the min/max graph:
I think I'm going to go for Option 1, as it's the easiest (both humidities on same graph, hence only one scale needed) and put inside temp on a graph on its own for now.

Re: New graphs?
Steve, will it just be a case of releasing a fresh trendsT and trends.htm or (forgive my lack of knowledge) is more required to get these great new graphs into Cumulus and working?

Re: New graphs?
It will happen automatically, assuming you use the supplied trendsT.htm template. I'll be uploading the new version shortly.

Re: New graphs?
Is it correct that a new installation only overites the program, the <web> files folder, the <webfiles> folder, and the <config.ini> file? so these are only ones that need to be backed up and replaced after installation. This worked ok for me last time but just want to make sure in case there are any new people about to re-install.

Re: New graphs?
This is from the build file, hopefully it's clear what it all means - "ignoreversion" means overwrite without any version checks.
Edit: So if "config.ini" means "cumulus.ini", then no, the install doesn't overwrite that. I do some silly things from time to time, but that would be really silly, wouldn't it?
Edit2: And if it were me, I'd assume that an upgrade installation was going to do all kinds of horrible things to my data, and back up everything
Cumulus-related before an install. Which is what I do, in fact.

Re: New graphs?
Actually, that reminds me that the installer probably includes lots of 'example' web pages and images generated from test runs on my development machine. I'll pretend that's intentional

Re: New graphs?
I did mean cumulus.ini and yes it would be stupid! I think I paniced the time before last when all of my colour scheme and picture seemed to vanish. but I think it still said "Laindon Weather" so it must have retained it. I can follow that and it's pretty much what I thought happened. I am backing up data anyway, so should be safe from now on which is good because everything looks spot on to me now.
