Steve,
Is there a particular reason that the "Now" and "Gauges" pages are not automaticallay refreshed?

Hi
I think you take a look at this topic https://cumulus.hosiene.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=193 It may help. the pages that Steve orgionally designed didnt come with any refresh code in it. The above link may assist if you want to add it to your IndexT file. I managed to get it working "fairly" easily and I am hopeless at code and things.
I think it may be easy (ish) just to add a little html code yourself to make the pages refresh on their own, but I cant remember what it is at the moment. I will take a look and find out.
Here goes, this is what I have found QUOTE
"META for Automatic Refreshing and Forwarding
You can use <META ...> to tell the web browser to automatically move to another web page, or refresh the current page, after a specified period of time.
To have the page automatically refresh itself every x seconds, use a tag like this:
this code
<META HTTP-EQUIV="REFRESH" CONTENT="5">

None of the supplied pages are automatically refreshed, are they? I suppose the reason is that I don't want mine to be. It's not good for accessibility. But my pages probably break lots of other accessibility rules anyway

May I suggest that you look at a prog called IE7Pro - it has a number of bells and whistles and allows the viewer to set a tab refresh rate amongst other things. They could also press F5 of course

Re: "Now" and "Gauges" page not refreshed.
Thanks all.
I would like however to stick with the original distribution of Cumulus as long as possible.
(If you want to know all the ins and outs of HTML, then http://www.w3schools.com/default.asp is also
a good reference)
not my first thought, but it is possible.
On the other hand I didn't know IE7Pro, but I think it's worth a closer look.
Regards,
Kees.
I've done some HTML-coding in my job in the past, and I recall that this is the way to go.Paul C wrote:<META HTTP-EQUIV="REFRESH" CONTENT="5">

I don't think so, but Now and Gauges are the most obvious.Steve wrote:None of the supplied pages are automatically refreshed, are they?
In that case it is up to the end-user to decide to automatically refresh or not. That wasBluebeard wrote:May I suggest that you look at a prog called IE7Pro

Meta refresh does work if you make some changes in the way the files are uploaded, but be aware that if someone leaves a browser open on you site and goes away for a day you will burn a bit of bandwidth
