Using Fine offset with Solar, Cumulus 1.9.4
Solar logging and Web page were fine until yesterday when the Solar Radiation crossed 601 and stuck there, where it has been ever since, day and night. The Fine Offset small display consol currently shows the correct solar lux and w/m2 values and these show up correctly on the Cumulus software. But they get logged as 601 instead of the values displayed. Attached is the log file from yesterday showing the point at which it stuck at 601. Any ideas on where things are going wrong would be much appreciated.

Re: Incorrect monthly log of solar value
I don't have an answer what could be the cause, but I would stop and restart Cumulus and see if it continues. I checked my Cumulus1 and doesn't look like anything gets logged in Diags on the solar (turned on Debug Log for a short while).
Enjoy,
Paul

Re: Incorrect monthly log of solar value
Thanks Paul, I must investigate the diags more, see what they do.
Anyway since posting the original problem, things have started behaving again. I did several restarts so that may have cured it. Always difficult to be really sure.

Re: Incorrect monthly log of solar value
@geowarm: it could also be a (temporary or intermittend) hardware failure. I had this once with the solar sensor and eventually I had to replace it. But indeed check the diags.
