Rain rate discrepancy

Post by bigharps »

I was working on my computer this morning when it started to rain quite heavily. I looked at my Cumulus dashboard and saw rain rates under "Rainfall" of 25, 30 and 45mm/hr. Today's extremes shows a max rain rate of 49mm/hr at 0743.
When I look at the Select-a-graph, it shows a max rain rate of 13mm/hr at about 0743.
Any ideas where the error is coming from? I'm using V 1.9.4, build1099.
Thanks in advance! :)

Graphs show the instantaneous values at the top of each minute. Different values will be recorded during each minute - as evidenced by your maximum rainfall rate - but won't be shown on the graph unless it occurs at the top of the minute.
