Why irrelevant?
I think Mark was saying his post was irrelevant to the original Topic subject and not a comment on your post.

We need a thumbs-up Smiley. Maybe I should have said off-topic, but the term escaped me at time, it's an age thing! :bash:

 As long as we see the humour in multi language communication.
I liked my 'minuscule error' described above ...

Actually it's not ;) My Cumulus 1.9.4 runs on a Win7 pc ( it also doubles as a Plex server and I use it for video conversion) I put the copy of my Cumulus folder onto my Win 10 pc ( didn't install Cumulus just copied the folder) and ran Cumulus.exe, runs fine communcates ok, didn't try then upload but see no reason why that wouldn't work. So still options for years to come.
My setup is very similar to RayProudfoot, NAS drive for backup, pc has 2 drives, SSD for the OS and an HDD for data & backup, NAS backs up to another SSD and to Cloud storage. My Cumulus has run virtually trouble free for over 8 years, has run on various pc's (current setup for 4 years) it does what I want with little to no input from me, I see no reason to change for the sake of change. I have plenty of data backups, if it came to it won't be difficult to change to MX at some future date if I have to.
