Error after power outage

Post by alb_Ronda »

Hi. Days ago I have a problem with the program. I have a "mini PC", and a power went out. Since then Cumulus gives me misreported rain (I've tried to correct all possible forms) and have noticed that I created a second file called "jul.16log.txt" instead of keep writing in the "jul16log file. txt ". Although the backup copy still gives me error in the rain and creating the new file. After 5 years is the first time that I have problems. I'm afraid of losing all data, or at least not to see them in the program correctly.

Thank you.

Comment i installed Cumulus MX to see if it solved anything, but just happens. I believe that new file called "jul.16log.txt" rather than keep writing in "jul16log.txt". The problem is I can not see data and graphs days ago.

They also say that in the "mini pc" Cumulus worked with Windows 7, and now on the computer where am testing I have Windows 10. It may be that the reason that rename the data file ?

PD: Sorry for so many messages , but they are ideas that are happening to me . Thank you.

I've been watching what you say, but I think that refers to the content of the log file it? To me what changed me is the name of the file, adding a sign ".". I see that changing the name to all log files, and adding that sign "." cumulus read them without problem. At least I'm quiet I can still have the data history in cumulus.

Thank you.

The log file naming uses the Windows date settings, so it is affected in a similar way to some of the dates in some of the files. It uses the system's short month names - e.g. in the UK the current long month name is "July" and the short month name is "Jul". I am not sure if these names are configurable in Windows (other than by changing the region).
