I am afraid that Cumulus MX does not run on XP.

In the FAQS it explains why
•Cumulus MX on Windows requires .NET 4.5 and hence will not run on the obsolete Windows XP
The .NET 4.5 library is not available on XP.

erm Steve.

I would love to Beta Test too, and have the time and different OS's available to give you some decent testing and feedback.

I am keen to see how Cumulus will perform on the different Raspberry Pi's, and also w10 preview.

In your signature you say you are using Windows 2003, which I presume is Windows Server 2003. A prerequisite of Cumulus MX is that your Operating System must support .NET 4.5 and windows 2003 Server does not support that version, the same as XP.

I'm interested in testing this out... we currently use Cumulus with a Weather Station from Maplin on an old laptop running XP, but if we could run it on our Raspberry Pi, this would be better :D

I also have access to OS X so could test on that too.

Hi Steve,

I would like a try, if possible, with a Raspi 2.
(I also run a windows 2012 server standard, too).

Thanks and regards.

Hi Steve

Thanks for your good work with Cumulus ;)

I think that a cost for Cumulus MX would be in order, for all the time you put into it.
And some people (including me) thinks that, yes I definitly should donate, but then weeks and weeks go and I never
take the time to donate. Shame on me! But I did a donation now at least.

I have 2 display units for an WH-1080PC and can test on the new Raspberry Pi 2 if needed (would be fun as well), if you still need more testers.

Else, I will be looking forward to the released version when it comes, and dont feel bad about a cost for it, I think a cost is just fair.

Have a good day.

Cheers

Hi Steve,

if still possible and if you need one more tester, I would like to join the beta tester crew.
I have WeatherDuino Pro2 and Auriol Stations and use/have at my dispose Windows 7 both x86 and x64, windows 8 x64, several linux distros, raspberry B, B+ and 2 B and also one mac laptop.
I would like to test specially on raspberry and linux but I'm available to other tests if needed.

Best regards
