Cumulus Bug With Desktop
Hi there,
I have never seen this happen with Cumulus before. It's a bug that's probably worth reporting.
The effect is like the top of the window is stuck to the desktop after you minimise Cumulus. You have to click 'Show desktop' in the bottom right hand corner of the desktop to clear the problem.
Here is a screenshot:
Has anyone else had this problem?

Re: Cumulus Bug With Desktop
It's not a Cumulus problem. More likely to be a graphics one. Unless it occurs on a frequent basis I'd ignore it.
Reboots can clear a lot of issues like this.

See if there is an updated graphics driver for your card on the manufacturers site. I agree it looks like a driver problem.

Re: Cumulus Bug With Desktop
Hi there,
I have successfully downloaded the latest driver for the ATI Radeon 5770 HD graphics card. The bug seems to have been fixed.
Thanks,
William

Re: Cumulus Bug With Desktop
William, how often do people have to ask and remind you before you actually listen to what they say to you, and do what you say you will do?
Several people here have asked you to stop quoting their full reply, and you say ok ok ok, but then you continue to do the same. That is a kid's habit.
You often start a thread with the subject such as "Cumulus Bug ..." before you know or have any proof. You have been reminded of that here and also on the other forum where you have now lost your posting privileges. This is a total disrespect to the people from whom you take so much, for free, and for granted. Grow up, and respect your elders!

Hi there,
Ok, this might not be a Cumulus problem. So, I'm sorry to offend you, Paul.
The issue with the graphic is still occurring. Any other ideas?

This is great entertainment. No need to watch TV, I look forward to checking the forum each day to read the next chapter of the "Grimsley Files".

That comment is uncalled for. Are you aware he's a 14 year old? I imagine you were perfect at that age.swyman18 wrote:This is great entertainment. No need to watch TV, I look forward to checking the forum each day to read the next chapter of the "Grimsley Files".

Open NotePad or Explorer. if the same happens with them then it's not related to Cumulus which I suspect has never been the case.William Grimsley wrote: The issue with the graphic is still occurring. Any other ideas?
If this has only started happening recently think about what you have changed on your PC.

Re: Cumulus Bug With Desktop
I opened both of those programs and minimised them and no problem. Then, I opened Cumulus and the problem went on that case. This only happens occasionally. My CPU is very low. My CPU is always below 10%.RayProudfoot wrote:Open NotePad or Explorer. if the same happens with them then it's not related to Cumulus which I suspect has never been the case.William Grimsley wrote: The issue with the graphic is still occurring. Seriously? Tell that to everyone jumping all over him for things as trivial as "quoting replies".That comment is uncalled for. Are you aware he's a 14 year old? I imagine you were perfect at that age.
I've got nothing against him at all, I'm just saying I enjoy reading the back and forth.
Yes nobody is perfect and he has some things to learn. But the next time someone rips him for saying or doing the wrong thing, I will look for your reply about "uncalled for" comments.
Sorry if I offended anyone, just having a little fun.
