Showing partial lat/long of station location on web site

Post by martinu »

Is there a way to display on my web site just part of the latitude and longitude of my weather station's location - eg just degrees and minutes but no seconds - to avoid revealing my precise address?

I've looked through the available tags and I can only see <#latitude> and <#longitude>, with no finer division (eg <#latitudedegrees>). I realise that I could display the lat/long as decimal degrees, with fewer decimal places.

If it's not currently possible, perhaps you could log it as an enhancement request.

Just hard-code it into the web pages rather than using the web tags.

That's just what I have done, as a short-term workaround!
