Would it be possible to make the connection to MX over SSL (TLS)? e.g., HTTPS instead of HTTP?

This is already present in MX as long as you are on one of the latest releases. Internet Settings / Web/FTP Site / Drop down "Select the FTP Protocol to use" gives you this option.

I think the OP is asking for https access to the interface.

OK I think you are right Freddie but why since it would be on your local network?

I saw another post in the suggestions forum entitled "Login for MX Settings" and surmised that the two requests are linked as they are from the same user. So perhaps the installation is somewhere where physical security can't be enforced. Or perhaps there is a need for the interface to be available over the internet? I don't know - just guessing.

@NFLD.Republic what is your use case(s) for these two suggestions?

If it's internet access to the interface, a VPN is the simple solution.

If it's securing the interface inside a business network, the the business's firewall rules could easily accommodate that.
