Most users in the EU will have to change the UTC time offset in the settings in easyweathersetup.php because ending of DST ;)

good morning

in hope due to the recent changes we can keep Cumulus software alive and maintain its popularity . once again the changes made to the meteobridge version were easy to just slot into the cumulus version .

have updated the download

new browser style frame for charts and most pop up modules

added option to setup screen to select hardware type (*if your hardware does not appear in list you can edit the easyweathersetup.php
and add an option like this just insert <option>Your Hardware</option>

example

Code: Select all

           <option>Davis&reg; Vantage Pro2&#8482;</option>
           <option>Davis&reg; Vantage Pro2 Plus&#8482;</option>

sorry i overlooked the cabled versions i will add them on , i bought mine standard vp2 week later found a unused solar module after a bit of haggling £95 but i think the phone call cost me what i saved :-( but am about to order the UV at full price with FARS daytime from prodata , i like him he seems real and knowledgeable and not full of robot answers..

so something like this ? does cabled version have a FARS ?

Code: Select all

  <option>Davis&reg; Vantage Pro2&#8482;</option>
           <option>Davis&reg; Vantage Pro2 Plus&#8482;</option>

I think we can all safely say we are all human, and make plenty of mistakes. no need to apologise ;)

I run about 3 of your templates in different folders and then once I've setup the configuration and allowed a day or too to pass by, I move it to the main pws folder.

Hello Brian,

I had just finished updating the weeWX version. Can you tell me which are the affected files so I don’t have to start over again.

Many thanks and good luck with the move when it happens. Look forward to hearing from you when you re-surface

Cheers Ian

good morning Ian

im not quite sure how it went wrong so I basically reverted back to a october version and added in the newer features from current. i think it may be
temperature.php settings.php livedata.php shared.php easyweathersetup.php and css files exactly what(files) screwed the theme switch I dont know so I do sincerely apologize I know you spend a lot of time compiling the Weewx version but its that old scenario I dont see the issues arise until its reported due to not using the software which is really the big reason Im walking away for a long break. However the last version so far has not had any reports of issues its basically a replica of the meteobridge version .
As for moving we can see the light at the end of tunnel just hope it does turn dark ..

Good morning Brian,
Thanks for response. You mentioned that it is basically a replica of the MB version so maybe the question I should have asked is how do you turn MB version into CU version? Obviously livedata.php and the chart files are some. Any others I should look out for? I have a whole suite of drop-in files developed now, even a specific easyweathersetup.php to turn CU into WX. Going directly from MB to WX would make more sense.

Just keep that torch shining down the tunnel. I know how stressful moving can be. It has been 28 yrs since I last moved but have helped one son and also my daughter to move this year so I know the trials and tribulations it can bring.

Cheers
Ian

hi unfortunately you need a source of data to calculate the difference between actual and timeago . not sure if this data is available in realtime.txt ?
ps is there not a shorter phrase for "dewpoint" word in your language "Temperatura Mokrego Termometru" :-) it breaks the whole temperature module ...

template had 4 fixes applied recently (this morning) one fix in menu.php removed uptime hours appearing as not valid for cumulus it was leftover from meteobridge version. both css files dark, light(makes notification fade away instead of being permanent after 10 seconds) were updated and rainfall.php updated . no new additions or any other files were updated...brian
