should be ok now but you need to look at the darksky api you need to sign up and get one and a checkwx api key if you want nearest metar airport report

the timezone i corrected it should be Australia/Brisbane not just Brisbane .

the path for the realtime.txt is simply realtime.txt as you have template residing the root

Me again, Is it possible to have the weather34 template as my main page and then have the standard cumulus webpage at say norawx.com/cumulus?
I tired to do it but I'm not sure how to configure it. It appears cumulus is uploading the webfiles to the public_html directory where I have the weather34 template.
How do I get it to upload to public_html/cumulus and what should my configuration be for local filenames and remote filenames? Thanks in advance.

Likely very similar to mine.

You may already have or create the root public_html/cumulus folder.
Using something like Filezilla FTP all the contents of your C:\Cumulus\webfiles folder to that remote public_html/cumulus folder.
In Cumulus Configuration - Internet - Site/Options for Directory enter public_html/cumulus
In Cumulus Configuration - Internet - Files tick Include Standard Files and Include Standard Images

Cumulus should then update the standard processed files to your remote public_html/cumulus folder at your set interval.

The url would then be http://norawx.com/cumulus/index.htm

NOTE: you likely now in Cumulus - Internet - Site/Options Directory as public_html so that realtime.txt is being FTP to public_html/realtime.txt so you would need to change the settings in your Weather34 for realtime.txt as ../cumulus/realtime.txt

Then you can add a link in your Weather34 Menu to the cumulus template.

Enjoy,
Paul

UPDATE: I just notice from your previous attachment you are already using the extra web files to upload realtime.txt. That is not necessary as you have also set to FTP realtime.txt in the Configuration - Internet - Site/Options so that is a duplicate FTP.

Enjoy,
Paul

Thanks Paul, got it all working now! Link included :D
Just to clarify on your last post, I do not need any realtime.txt files going via cumulus?

Great.

Correct, the standard Cumulus template does not use realtime.txt but the realtime.txt would be uploaded to the same folder that the standard template files are FTP. if it is set to FTP in the Site/Option settings. Since you have it added as an extra web file it is being sent to the folder were your Weather34 resides so all works fine.

Enjoy,
Paul

It has just been pointed out that the Light view has a small formatting issue in that the DarkSky Forecast block (2nd row, middle, is shifted over to the right about an inch. I don't look at the light version so had not noticed it before. It is fine in the Dark view.

See attached screen capture of Dark and Light side by side.

Enjoy,
Paul

Ahh, yes... I've been sorting through the main.dark.css to fix some validation errata, and haven't had time to port those changes to the main.light.css quite yet. Thanks for the heads-up.
