Post by Martial »

Comment peut on enregistrer les changement, meteo avec un ordinateur en veille et une console qui n'enregistre pas.

How can we record changes, weather with a computer on standby and a console that does not record.
Thank you

You should not under any circumstances allow your weather computer to go into standby especially if you have no logger.

If you do this data will not be recorded and the only way to get data in is to edit the log files which is a long tedious task!!

Can I suggest using a Raspberry Pi which can run 24/7 on low power consumption.

Your console should plug into the RPI, which in turn runs CumulusMX and publishes the data to your website in the same manner as your PC but without going on standby. The data is permanently recorded on the RPi.

I hope this helps
