FTP Now

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

FTP Now

Post by water01 »

I have been experimenting with FTP Now and I think there is either a problem or a misunderstanding on my part as far as Extra Files are concerned.

I assumed that the FTP now service would "Process" any web tag files (i.e. updating the tags) in the Extra Files list before it did the FTP.

I ask this because I use PHP and Cumulus PHP Webtags and the $update tag does not reflect the time at which the Web Tag file was processed and uploaded by FTP Now?

Hi David,

No currently it does not process any files, It just invokes an FTP cycle for quick checking the FTP process.

Easy enough to change it so that it does a full file processing and FTP though. It would make it more useful, I'll put that in the next release as it's a one liner.
