Just checking .......

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Just checking .......

Post by water01 »

Am I right in thinking that CumulusMX has not fully started up until you see"Ctrl-C to terminate" in the command window? Or should it say "Normal Running"?

Hi David,
On my CumulusMX with WiFiLogger the DOS screen shows:
Connected to Station
Cumulus running at ….
(Replace * with....
Date/time...
Type Ctrl-C to terminate
Down Loading Archive Data
-Processed 100%
Down Loading Archive Data
Normal running

On my CumulusMX with Ecowitt GW1000 which has no data logger it shows:
Connected to Station
Cumulus running at ….
(Replace * with...
Normal running
Date/time...
Type Ctrl-C to terminate

Sorry I can't give you screen shots as my keyboard is not working on the weather desktop computer.

Enjoy,
Paul

"Normal running" is when it starts running fully, when that occurs depends on if it has to perform a logger download.

That's fine - and normal.
When downloading data from the logger the Ctrl-C message will come before the Normal running. They come from different parts of the program.
