Incorrect "This month" and "monthly Records" figures
Hi all
The above figures are incorrect as evidenced by the attached screen shots from CumulusMX new version as well as viewing both of these pages from:
https://www.kstwx.net/cumx/index.htm.
I am using the latest version of CumulusMX - 3060.
Could I have advice as to how to correct the problem, please.

Hi Keith, do you mean the unset values for April? Was Cumulus running in April and you have some data for that month?

Re: Incorrect "This month" and "monthly Records" figures
Hi Mark
Thanks for your reply. April is just one example of each of the months data. The problem also occurs in the months data in the "old type" web pages as can be seen in the URL https://www.kstwx.net/cumx/index.htm.
I have downloaded the 3060 update and installed it as per your instructions - overwritten all files from the download zip - on another post on that subject.
best wishes
Keith

It looks like either your monthlyalltime file has been overwritten, or the contents are invalid for some reason.
Which version of Cumulus to did you upgrade to b3060?
Zip up your MXdiags folder, and also attach your monthlyalltime file.

OK, that doesn't really show anything of any use.
You have to go back through the backup folders until you find a good copy of the monthlyalltime.ini file, and copy that to to your data folder (with Cumulus stopped).

Hi Mark
After using a relevant back-up that I had and the editing of 2 "ini" files all is now back to where it should be.
Thanks for your advice and help.

Re: Incorrect "This month" and "monthly Records" figures
"This Month" editing shows the incorrect month for logfile. For this month December 2019 it shows November 2019. The dayfile and records show the correct month. My current v3.2.5 build 3061
One further request is able to show records between two dates as in Cumulus 1 as per "This Period". I use this for rainfall against my water bill and rainfall tank usage. This can also be used for the seasons eg winter, summer, autumn and spring.

Ok, I see the problem, I allowed for 9am met days in one part of the code and didn't spot it needed doing in a second place. I'll fix that for the next release, thanks for the report.

Also in "This Year's Records Editor" the logfile displays "High monthly rain" at 2018-12 but it is 2019-05 in dayfile and "High minimum temperature" as 06-12-18 (26.9) instead of what the dayfile shows 02-03-19 (25.4).

Re: Incorrect "This month" and "monthly Records" figures
Yep, "this year" uses the same bit of code as "this month".
Summary, the code uses a date of the first of the month to determine the month log file name (at midnight). But the function that generates the file names takes account of 9am stations, 9 hours is subtracted from the date/time before generating the file name, which gives you the previous month!
