Dayfile Editor for MX data.

Hi All,

Have just been having a bit of a play trying to use the Cumulus 1.94 Dayfile editor on a copy of my MX data.
When I put the entire collection of MX data in Cumulus 1 the program would not start; threw up an exception error with little feedback.

But if I just copied the MX dayfile.txt, the program starts & is happy to display the data & appears to let me edit it.

Can anyone tell me how valid doing this is & where the compatibility issue might lie between the two data formats?

Thanks

You need to look in the log file, it should tell you which file (and which line within the file) is causing the problem.

Looks like Today.ini is what it's trying to read when it crashes.

Log ends here when it crashes on full MX data.

Code: Select all

21/07/2019 11:49:43.685 : Showing main form
21/07/2019 11:49:43.806 : Todaydatestring = 21/07/19
21/07/2019 11:49:43.806 : Looking for C:\Cumulus\data\today.ini
21/07/2019 11:49:43.806 : Today.ini exists
21/07/2019 11:49:43.806 : Time now = 21/07/2019 11:49:43 AM
Normal Startup continues after above.

Code: Select all

21/07/2019 08:13:34.542 : Todaydatestring = 21/07/19
21/07/2019 08:13:34.542 : Looking for X:\Cumulus\data\today.ini
21/07/2019 08:13:34.547 : Today.ini exists
21/07/2019 08:13:34.547 : Time now = 21/07/2019 8:13:34 AM
21/07/2019 08:13:50.568 : Read today file: Date = 29/09/2016, LastUpdateTime = 30/09/2016 6:20:00 AM, Month = 9
21/07/2019 08:13:50.574 : Todayfileraindaystart = 63
21/07/2019 08:13:50.579 : Todayfile is for today
21/07/2019 08:13:50.587 : ReadTodayfile: set notraininit false
Assume that means there's a conflict between something in there & maybe Cumulus.ini.

Not sure what, but doesn't seem right!
