Migrating from Cumulus 1 to MX - Pre-shared SSH Key

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Migrating from Cumulus 1 to MX - Pre-shared SSH Key

Post by NFLD.Republic »

Hi folks - I am in the process of migrating from Cumulus 1 to Cumulus MX (in Docker). Is there any template (I know that I will have a bunch of formatting to do) to migrate the data files from 1 to MX?

I noted in the MX configuration that there is FTPS available. Is there any way to use SFTP or SCP with pre-shared keys (PSK)?

Thanks and keep up the good work!

Data files should not need any conversion - if you retain the same locale settings for date/time, decimal, and list separators.

The Cumulus.ini file does need a few items editing.

Sorry, no support for SFTP or SCP.
