How do they do that - cloud base

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

How do they do that - cloud base

Post by ruggb »

I have a Davis Vue. There is a gauge that displays the cloud base. It seems to be working. I assume the footage is local, IE, I am at 450 ft ASL and it says 400 ft so the clouds are 850ft ASL. BUT how is that done? It does not come from my Vue.
