mono crashed when starting cumulusMX

Hello,
My CumulusMX software (v3.0.0 build 3048) was working fine until I upgraded my ubuntu server software packages.
Since the update of mono in version 5.20.1, CumulusMX crashes at startup with the error message: double free or corruption (out).
I can not identify the cause.

two things i would try, first completly remove mono and the reinstall and see if it works. if you still get an error maybe invoking verbose on starting may help a little more like

mono -v CumulusMX.exe

if not then remove and downgrade to another version know to work, I am using version 4.6.2 (Debian 4.6.2.7+dfsg-1ubuntu1)
