Manual upload
After migration from Steve's server to WebHostUK, last November, the station has been uploading well until February 15, precisely the day they changed of servers. I tried Active FTP, passive FTP as before, and restarting Cumulus several times but station didn't made web upload. They asked me to make a manual upload when they deactivated firewall but I don't know how to do it. I've seen in Wiki that it is possible to do a manual upload with C:\cumulus\upload-dayfile.bat but that is with Cumulus. Is it possible to do a manual upload in Cumulus mx?

Re: Manual upload
No MX cannot do manual uploads. You would have to use an FTP client such as Filezilla.

Re: Manual upload
Thank you for the reply. And what files must I upload in order to see the main pages updated?

Re: Manual upload
Using Filezilla I uploaded index.htm and the page "now" was updated. So it seems that the problem is not on the server. What can I do in Cumulus?

Re: Manual upload
Switch on FTP logging in Cumulus MX Internet Settings. Let it run for a while and then post the ftlog.txt file from the CumulusMX folder here. Once we have that we can see what next.

Re: Manual upload
FTP logging was already set. And ftplog.txt is over 290MB.

Re: Manual upload
You have lots of these since about 13:13 today:
Network problems between the computer that MX is running on and your web server?
Also, this setting is a bit worrying:Shouldn't this be an achievable value - something like 5 seconds?
Code: Select all
2019-02-23 13:19:00.507 Error uploading web/realtimegauges.txt to www/realtimegauges.txt : No route to host
Also, this setting is a bit worrying:
Code: Select all
2019-02-23 13:10:30.113 Starting Realtime timer, interval = 0 seconds

Re: Manual upload
After replacing the IP address by the server's name, in FTP site part of Cumulus.ini, the ftp upload has been done well. It was the way I was doing with Filezilla. So now it is resolved.
