I have been a Linux user for a very long time and was very thrilled to see that CumulusMX was now cross platform.
My main desktop is Manjaro 18.2 but I had all manner of frustration because CumulusMX refused to connect. I discovered that Mono-stable in Manjaro was for some reason incompatible.
Searching Mono on the Arch forum indicated a solution. Install Monodevelop from the AUR. It had to build and took quite some time but in the end CumulusMX is working wonderfully.
There may be a better solution to this issue that doesn't involve the full development package but it is working nicely. Mono-complete isn't available as far as I could see with Manjaro 18 series.

Re: Manjaro and CumulusMX
Good to know you got it working in the end. The mono dependency is a bit of pain.
