Build 3047 - a question

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Build 3047 - a question

Post by freddie »

[*]Added new option for the "Extra files" - End of Day
  • Enabling this means that file will only be processed/copied/FTPed once a day during the end of day roll-over.
  • There is a new Cumulus.ini file setting for each "extra" file associated with this setting

    Code: Select all

    ExtraEOD[nn]
What is the timing of the "End of Day"? Does it occur when there is data for the new day? I ask because I'm thinking about using this for processing yesterdayT.htm, but don't want to do it if there is no data for todayT.htm at that time.

Thanks for the new build - some useful maintenance in there.

The files will be processed after the end of day rollover processing. Is that what you are asking?

Sort of. Will there be data available in the "today" tags at that instant in time?

There *should* be, but I haven't tested that. Maybe you can create a small test file and see what happens tonight? - I probably will ;)
Maybe I should also make it clear that you can set the EOD flag via the normal Extra Files configuration page - you don't need to edit Cumulus.ini
