Moonphase

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Does it change if you force a page refresh? It possibly looks like a browser caching issue.

That image is not part of the Cumulus distribution. I don't know how you are generating it.

You need to investigate your moonphase.php script.

I've been using this one for a few years. More images than the default supplied with Cumulus.
