I have a dais ip data logger which was included in a pro2 display that I purchased from an auction site. When firs connected it all worked well and then when I was setting up a fixed ip address we had a power failure and atter that I have not been able to connect to it. The davis display has battery backup so I think that the pc has corrupted the ip address when it turned off.
Using a program called Wireshark I can see that the datalogger is sending this message out to the network 88 13.259193 DavisIns_00:6b:4e Broadcast ARP 60 Who has 10.110.11.11? Tell 10.110.11.32.
So I am sure the logger is ok as it is still transmitting but I cannot see it on my network 192.168.1 etc It looks as if the ip address is set now to a different network address.
So my question is is it possible to find which network address it is set to or can the datalogger be reset to a default address ?
Any help would be welcome
thanks Pete
