Cumulus Support

Hey guys I would like to say a big thanks to you all for helping me over the years.

So I took some time making a pre-built raspberry pi image as I saw on the forum people saying is there a step by step guide to set all this up.
The pi image contains ….
: Samba file server
: mono version 4.0.5 don’t work with fine off set but I will be making one
: Cumulus MX release - v3.0.0 build 3043
: Pi updated to the latest packages 29/04/2018
: Firmware updated to the latest 29/04/2018
: Remote desktop

I've installed the img on my PI 2.
But CumulusMX won't start!
Nothing happens when i try : No response from mono when i try to get the version :

What wether st you got ?

I've CumulusMX running well on my PC with this setting:

mono was there when i done it give me ssh so i have a look

try and re flash the copy off the pi img on to the sd card again as ive tested this loads off times and it was working fine

For a Davis system it really doesn't matter which version of MONO you use. I am running 5.0.1.1 Probably easier to start from scratch by installing the latest Debian/Raspbian etc by following Steve's guide elsewhere in this forum. If nothing else it gets you more familiar with the OS. I was a complete UN*X newbie when I started with CumulusMX

I understood that the MONO version issue only affected comms between the FineOffset and derivative weather stations. Comms to the DAVIS systems is done in a different manner and MONO version is much less critical - as I say I am using a V5 MONO under "jessie" without any problems at all.

The post you referenced backs this up as the issues were from users of FO et al systems

Well this is quite embarrassing. I haven't engaged in enough discussions yet to DM. Can you DM me with the link to the image?
