Hello,
I used until now, Bitdefender Total security 2017 on my PC or CumulusMX turns 24/24.
Since my move to BTS version 2018, CumulusMX.exe is detected as a malware, and quarantined.
I made a report to support Bitdefender for analysis.
Have you ever encountered this problem?

Re: CumulusMX and Bitdefender
Bonjour de Montville!
It's not uncommon for antivirus software to dumbly flag software as having a virus when it doesn't. I googled for the supposed 'virus' and a few other programs have been flagged recently by bitdefender, something to do with a virus database update.
It should possible to add MX to a whitelist.
Just to be clear, for the benefit of anyone finding this thread: There are no viruses in Cumulus as distributed by me

Re: CumulusMX and Bitdefender
my guess as to why it may be flagged is the web socket being opened.
Just a guess

Re: CumulusMX and Bitdefender
Hello,
I had no doubt that CumulusMX was clean.
It was just to get back the info.
PS: A report to the bitdefender support was made for a "false positive" I expect them to return.
