Just another quick update, 31 days now without a lockup!
It is looking more like the Ethernet interface was causing the issue?

It would be interesting to see if others with the same issue with this station could try the same 'fix'.

Well, I had the first lockup today since switching to Wi-Fi, but it's had a good run! Apart from one reset I had to do for a mains power loss, it has been stable since 3rd June so I am hoping the lockups will now be occasional in the future too, rather than every few days. I will keep you posted

Yes - I don't think there's any way to avoid the lockups completely, and over 50 days is probably a good run.

Hi All,
The Raspi still suffers from the basic hardware design error since the first version.
Unfortunately, the USB2.0 ports and Faster Ethernet share a common bus to the CPU.
Best regards
Volker

Re: Cumulus MX 3038 and Error reading data from station
Well after doing so well, I started to get USB lookups every few days even with just WiFi connected.
The last straw was when I had to reset it every day recently, so I have given up on the website for now. I have gone back to retrieving the data via a pc every so often so I can continue to keep historic records until I can afford another brand of weather station.
Has anyone had more luck with a Pi and a different Manufacturer?
Thanks, Steve.
