After countless hrs. of reading and rereading the install instructions ; I can no longer see the forest for all of the trees .This is where I am at this point.
. Cumulusmx is installed on a Raspberry pi 2 b in the root and will run. For some reason it will not talk to the vantage vue console which is
currently working great on cumulus 1.9 (win7) thru a weather link serial to usb convertor. I have tried several clean installs and also tried moving the current working data folder and config ini. to the installation . The data and config does show when running the app. I have attached A MXdiag file which shows an error . Please Advise

Have you got your 'Serial port name' set as /dev/ttyUSB0
When it first connects it takes a while to show any data whilst its downloading from the vue

You've put COM8 for the serial port name:
2015-04-09 09:02:48.633 Serial device = COM8
That's not a valid device name on Linux. It will be something like /dev/ttyUSB0 - you can look in /dev for that, or do a 'dmesg' and it should show a message like "... converter now attached to ttyUSB0"
