Theoretical Solar

Post by Adrian Hudson »

Steve,

I'm not convinced about the theoretical solar. I tried changing the transmission factor a little bit and the theoretical solar, at least as reported by the height of the curve on the graph, did not change. I tried various factors between 0.8 and 0.95 and still can't see a change.

I am right that changing the transmission factor should change the theortical solar, aren't I? It so long since I changed the factor that I am doubting myself!

It does work, but it only changes the calculated value from that point onwards. Previous calculated values will not be recalculated and the history rewritten. That is the same for any calibration factor.

Oh good grief, I remember now. yes, as you change it you get a step in the curve don't you. I need to change it during daylight and wait!

Thanks Mark
