Topics about the Beta trials up to Build 3043, the last build by Cumulus's founder Steve Loft. It was by this time way out of Beta but Steve wanted to keep it that way until he made a decision on his and Cumulus's future.

Double Postings for Midnight Timestamp

Post by WoodburyMan »

I seem to be having a weird issue. Every night at Midnight (00:00) my station produces two entries with 00:00 timestamp. I have it set to log every minute.

I get the following error on the console:
2015-01-26 23:22:10.972 Loading last N hour data from data logs: 1/26/2015 11:18:00 PM

When I pop open my data file to the selected line I see this.

Code: Select all

You can see the two entries for 00:00.
Going back I've found every dataset for the last week or so has had this issue just about.

This is running on my Rasp Pi B+. Has occurred with at least 3012 to the current 3015.

Do those entries really not have comma separators, or is that just something to do with how you're displaying it?

The way I'm displaying it. They're comma separated. When I opened the file I opened it in LibreOffice as a CSV to edit it like a Spreadsheet.

OK, thanks. The 'constraint' error is because of the duplicate line. And I think I have a fix for that - it's a timing issue due to the speed of the Pi.

Confirmed 3016 has fixed this I believe. I've had 3 rollovers since updating to 3016 and not a single one caused duplicate entries. It was doing it at least 3 out of 4 days prior to 3016.

Thanks Steve!
