cumulus mx auto starting

not sure if this should be done but I use start up delay to auto start programs like c1 so if I need at do a restart remotely it saves having to start them remotely. yes lazy I no. if you set cmx to run as admin in the properties this dose work as well as not having to right click and select run as admin. I understand that each new build you need to redo this but will this cause any other problems starting it like this. as I only upload to weather underground and that works I cant see any problems.

That won't cause any problems, but using the netsh http command to add the urlacl removes the need to run as admin anyway.

I was only looking at an easier way of doing it to help others that don't have the knowledge to use cmd commands plus this is to start cmx on start up

just installed 3014 and went to change the properties to run as admin and it was already set as this. is this just because I had changed it on the over builds and it remembered or has something else changed?

Cumulus doesn't remember that it's been set to run as administrator, that's down to Windows. I don't know how Windows stores that information.

ok thanks Steve. when I unzip the files I tell it you replace all as I install into the 3003 folder.
