Topics about the Beta trials up to Build 3043, the last build by Cumulus's founder Steve Loft. It was by this time way out of Beta but Steve wanted to keep it that way until he made a decision on his and Cumulus's future.

Interestingly, the server end (cumulusmx) is obviously holding the entries in working memory.

If I make new entries, close the browser and reopen the browser - the entries are still displayed

If I then close the browser, close and restart cumulusmx and reopen the browser - the entries are gone.

it just isn't writing them to the ini file.

I will try it on fresh install later today and see if its anything to do with the old stuff from cumulus1

yes, only had entries 0 to 10 before

tried changing entry 10 just now. nothing changed in ini but changes were cached in memory (survived browser close and open) until cumulus stopped and restarted. (as described in my previous post)

Does it work on one of the first ten? I've just seen a bug in the code - it only saves items 0 to 9.

You are indeed correct. It works with items 0-9. Sorry Steve, I should have thought of that.

Ok - no problem; I should have just looked at the code in the first place.

...it works!

...but is it meant to do that? it created all the possible ExtraXxxxx entries (except for No99) and they all have the FTP entry set to 1

Yes, I took the easy, straightforward, less likely to introduce further bugs approach.
