Topics about the Beta trials up to Build 3043, the last build by Cumulus's founder Steve Loft. It was by this time way out of Beta but Steve wanted to keep it that way until he made a decision on his and Cumulus's future.

So just to clarify - you get this error because of the month names which have accents in them? It must be an issue with the json encoding (or decoding) of non-ascii characters.

Yes
(I changed all records with month = 02 or 08 or 12 to an other month and it loads fine in records.html)

On a related subject, can you please tell me, for both Cumulus 1 and Cumulus MX, whether a Windows system using decimal commas has decimal commas or not in the ini files?

Not sure i can because as said previously my Win regional settings are "point" for decimal and comma for list separator.
I kept the French settings for date/time.
(I adopted those settings because at the beginning of FreeWx more than 10 years ago i also had problems with French settings)
I'll look if i can setup Cumulus in a virtual box with complete French settings.

Ah yes, OK. Don't go to any trouble to try it, there are plenty of people using decimal commas already, someone will know the answers.

I'm hoping this is fixed in build 3013 - it seems to work OK for me, at least.

But on the record.htm web file it seems that we have a similar problem with accented characters than we had with string.ini.

I thought the dates might be a problem. This is where I was having difficulty with my first solution for the strings problem. I don't know what the solution is. If I fix the date, it breaks the à character in the format string.

Got it, I think. You were right about it not saving as utf-8.
