Mark: Both versions were not running at the times of those extremes. I generally run it off the logger twice daily so both should be roughly similar. However some days I do run Cumulus all day but not overnight. However I do not compare live to logger data because I know it will be difference.
Steve: I have both programs set to calculate dew point. Both were ran off the logger for high and low reading. There is no calibration for temperature and humidity in either program (just the defaults of 0 and 1). The temperature and humidity recorded are the same in both programs with exactly the same readings and times.

Please attach the diags files from each program for the runs where that data was downloaded.
MX is using a slightly different algorithm for dew point. I think the C1 version may be 'better', so I may change MX.

I have Logging=0 in cumulus MX. I will have to wait until tomorrow if you need Logging=1. Please find both diags attached.

Re: Cannot download logger data from La Crosse station
Sorry, I edited my post. I hadn't noticed that MX is using a simpler formula. This is what happens when I try to look at Cumulus code on one screen while trying to find a bug in some Java code for my real job on another screen...

Re: Cannot download logger data from La Crosse station
For today with both Cumulus 1 and Cumulus MX ran off the logger, the dew point is differencing slightly. Is CumulusMX using the "slightly different algorithm" with the latest beta version or have you not changed it yet?
CumulusMX (build 1019):
High Dew Point 20.8 °C 11:15 AM
Low Dew Point 17.8 °C 7:00 PM
Cumulus 1:
High Dew Point 21.0 °C 11:15 AM
Low Dew Point 18.1 °C 7:00 PM
CumulusMX (build 1019):
High Dew Point 20.8 °C 11:15 AM
Low Dew Point 17.8 °C 7:00 PM
Cumulus 1:
High Dew Point 21.0 °C 11:15 AM
Low Dew Point 18.1 °C 7:00 PM

Re: Cannot download logger data from La Crosse station
I can confirm that with Cumulus MX build 3020 the dew point is being recorded the same as Cumulus 1. Thanks Steve.
