Changing UV Forecast Date Format?

Post by William Grimsley »

Hi Ken,

I've seen on many weather sites that their UV Forecast Date is in dd/mm/yyyy and not my dd Mon yyyy!

e.g. http://weather.hud.org.uk/

How do I change this? Do I do the change in the get-UV-forecast-inc.php file?

Thanks

William

Before changing the support script get-UV-forecast-inc.php, you should check to see if you are running a current version:

http://www.newton-poppleford-weather.co ... w=versions

And, you're running V1.06 when V1.07 is current.

Try the update first, then your Settings.php

Code: Select all

$SITE['dateOnlyFormat'] = 'd/m/Y'; // for 31-Mar-2008 or 'j/n/Y' for Euro format
should determine the format of the date for UV on the ajax-dashboard.php display.

Hi Ken,

Thanks for your reply.

Ok, I updated the support script get-UV-forecast-inc.php...and it changed the date format from dd Mon yyyy to dd/mm/yyyy!

I also saw that the CU-defs.php file needed updating, so I updated that too!

Now that I have updated the .php files, I will use the link you gave me to see if my site needs updating in the future! :D

Thanks very much,

William
