Post by William Grimsley »

Hi guys,

My status page which is from the AJAX/PHP template, is here: http://www.newton-poppleford-weather.co.uk/wxstatus.php it shows that the FTP is NOT Current and I can't understand why?

Please can someone help? To try and fix this issue?

Thanks

See its suddenly current (while I was looking at your site).

I presume you have found the problem - what was it?

Edit

Well I don't know! The details for my profile (bottom right of page) indicate that I can delete my threads but I can see no way to do it.

Have done so on other forums so just assumed there was a way to do it here.

After updating to Cumulus v1.9.4 my wxstatus.php page, is showing NOT CURRENT, again! I transfered the Cumulus.ini file, the data folder into the new Cumulus folder and ticked the Include Standard Images in the Internet Settings. But, Cumulus still isn't FTPing! :bash:

Is this related to the other Topic with the same title? If so I think the clue is here
into the new Cumulus folder
which I presume means you installed Cumulus into a different folder than the standard C:\Cumulus. If that is the case the picture on the other Topic of your FTP files shows them being upload from the standard directory rather than the directory where you have actually installed Cumulus. Get that right and it should work.

No, I installed the files in the folder. C:\Cumulus\Cumulus. Then, I moved the C:\Cumulus\Cumulus folder onto my desktop and then deleted the C:\Cumulus folder and replaced it with the C:\Cumulus\Cumulus folder that was on my desktop.

EDIT: Ok, I've now deleted the whole Cumulus folder and replaced it, again. I did transfer the Cumulus.ini file and the data folder over, successfully. Now, I have found that my graph pages and record pages are being FTPed but both of the NOT Current's are still showing on the wxstatus.php page! :bash:

Problem fixed! FINALLY!

The CU-tags.txt file (which Cumulus was trying to process and FTP) was not in the C:\Cumulus folder! So, I had to put the CU-tags.txt file back in the C:\Cumulus folder! As a result, the NOT CURRENT's went to CURRENT's, the records tables started updating, and the update bar started updating, too! Hooray! :D
