Hi
The EL-USB-5 is a stand alone data logger which needs to be plugged into the PC periodically not a continuous method of transferring the data.
The DLP108G is an A/D converter running all the time - link below.

I have now moved the flat roof RG-11 so that it is adjacent to the manual gauge in a more sheltered position at ground level. The effect of strong winds was causing the unit to record about double the actual rainfall.

Regards
Alan

Thank you Alan, I see there even in stock in the UK HERE. This is new territory for me so I shall probably be back for more advice when all the bits drop on the mat ;) . Later this week hopefully :) .

Look forward to hearing your updated results - typical though - not much rain in the UK now compared to late.

If you go to the original link it lists all the online retailers.

For 1-wire help try here.
They also have a forum.

Watching weather in Florida via Fine Offset. Attached is some "stuff" via the Fine Offset.

Here in the midwest I am set up with the two RG-11's adjacent to each other. No rain in immediate forcast in the midwest.

Mine arrived today. Ordered last Monday. No customs to pay, it was hanging out the letter box.

Nothing inside about the offer for the "free" one. Where did you guys find this offer?

Or the company has just simply decided to cancel that offer as there were/have been enough purchases...

Getting a bit of rain today.

I have debug enabled and wondering where I am to look for my counts?

Graphing increments on both the 1-wire connected RG-11 and the Cumulus RG-11
