Post by Thunderstorm » Sun 17 Nov 2019 12:23 pm

:? Hello,
I would like to show the weather forecast in german language. In the cumulus folder I inserted the strings.ini in German translation. But nothing changes. There are only one strings.ini right? The display should also be displayed as a treadmill. Can anyone help me?

Yes, only one strings.ini file is allowed. The template file is renamed "samplestrings.ini", that must be renamed "strings.ini".

Make sure it is called "strings.ini" and not mistakenly "strings.ini.txt"

Hi,
Thank you, Mark, for your hints. now it worked. I had always made a web update after changing the string.ini. And that was the mistake. You have to start the program completely, so that the .ini updates. One last question: What change do I have to make that the forecast is presented as a text band. In the script file gauges.ini I could not find anything. :?:
Best regards

You mean scrolling text?

It only scrolls if the text is too long to fit in the display area.
