SteelSeries Gauges display but won't display any info

Post by smfmetro »

Hi,

I am having some difficulty configuring the steelseries gauges to display realtime info.
Can you have a look and point me in the right direction.

http://houndspool.com/weather/gauges.htm

I'm using Cumulus as a weather station.

Thanks in advance!

Your realtimegauges.txt file - http://houndspool.com/weather/realtimegauges.txt - is 'unprocessed', i.e. it's the same as the realtimegaugesT.txt template, but it needs to be processed by Cumulus so that it contains actual data. Perhaps you haven't selected 'process'?

Do you actually have a weather station? Cumulus is not a weather station, Cumulus is weather software that reads data from your own weather station.

Hi,
Thanks for the replies.

I'm sending a screenshot of my configuration. | believe I have the process checkbutton checked.

And the weather station is actually a Fine Offset.

Thanks for the help!

You appear to have the remote path incorrect, your file is turning up here - http://houndspool.com/realtimegauges.txt - rather than here - http://houndspool.com/weather/realtimegauges.txt - as you haven't told Cumulus to put it in the 'weather' directory.

AH! Thanks!

That appeared to get the gauges page working but now the index page is not updating?

If you believe your configuration is correct for the standard files, you need to turn on ftp logging and look at ftplog.txt for error messages or other clues.

I had a look at your web site and the pages seem to be updating now, so you presumably found the problem?
