I meant... use Task Scheduler as the program invoked from CMX to, in turn, invoke WinSCP immediately but use any delay option that it supports in order to inhibit dual sessions.

schtasks /Run [/S <system> [/U <username> [/P [<password>]]]] /TN <taskname>

viz. https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/lib ... 21884.aspx

Prikryl says "It allows you to prevent parallel runs." I guess by virtue of the same <taskname>.

e.g.
schtasks /Run /TN "c:\WinSCPMX\WinSCP.com /script=c:\WinSCPMX\upreally.txt"

However, is this the same taskname?

schtasks /Run /TN "c:\WinSCPMX\WinSCP.com /script=c:\WinSCPMX\upjson.txt"

and will it work from CMX and could they build up, if there is a problem (like internet down)?

Update: I think the <taskname> has to be previously created so it would be more like...

schtasks /Run /TN "Realtime"
and
schtasks /Run /TN "Json"
