Hi Steve,

Firstly I and I am sure many others are in absolute awe of your genius at the Steel series gauges. A thousand thankyou's!

I believe the latest iteration (2.5.5) may have a tiny little issue with the displaying colour labels on the wind direction gauge
by changing the line from false to true in the area of " // create wind direction/compass radial gauge"
around line 1800 or so

Code: Select all

params.useColorLabels = true;
It would usually give me a red latest label and a blue average label.
This time it didn't appear to have an effect. Cleared the ole internet temp files, no change also tried firefox and still black text
can see here

Just checked against my other project, ver 2.5.3 with an evoptranspiration gauge.
http://members.iinet.net.au/~nossis/wea ... ges-ss.htm
(Just noticed on that one that the red gets lost if the wind direction is from the north) (ah the iddy tiddy bits to make it just perfect, nit picking I am) Alas I digress

Anyway... wondering if there is a clever trick for that one to get it back?
If to hard.. ah not to worry... definitely not a biggie

Thanks again for your exceptional efforts at making something that I think is just tops :clap:

Barry :-)

Hi Barry, I just checked your page (http ://members.iinet.net.au/~nossis/weather/gauges-ss.htm), and gauges.js has...

Code: Select all

params.useColorLabels = false;
I changed it on the fly in my browser to = true and the labels were coloured OK?

Oh my goodness :oops: indeed Mark. humble apologies!

Ah well I'll be darned, the ole make the changes and forget to upload the latest changed file!
Ah very good case solved, my customisations are all included again.

Once again homage to the masters in the eye for detail.
(now I really do look rather sheepish....)
