Hi Steve,
I have just downloaded the last beta
this is the fir batea 193 i have used
i did this
1. Open the new monthly records editor (on the Edit) menu
2. Click the 'fetch dayfile data' button, select the tab for each month in turn and click the 'copy' button in the header row to copy the dayfile data
3. Click OK.
there are a lot of entry with 12/30/1899
how do i fix these an a lot of ---

It doesn't look like you've clicked 'copy'. When you do that, the data from the dayfile.txt columns gets copied to the 'current' columns on the left. When you've done that for each month, you can then save them by clicking OK.

I did all copied ok But when i went back an looked no mater the month the last 4 did not hold the time the time was showing --- instead of the time

I don't think you can have a time associated with longest dry period and longest wet periods nor daily temp ranges and as Steve said they are stats for day or days. Can't speak to why a time is shown in the Editor's dayfile column as these are not stored in the dayfile.txt nor the monthly log files. In the editor my station's dayfile and logfile columns show the same as yours.

What you I may not have got all of the date/time formats absolutely correct in the editor (or have been bothered to do a specific format where it wasn't important), so you just need to ignore any times which might appear in the editor where they are clearly not relevant - as with daily items. They will normally appear as midnight anyway.
