Hi Steve,
Do you use a different (I don’t know the word) for Today and the last 24 hours?
The station gives 4.2 mm...

Re: Rain 24 hours/Today (b.1013/14)
It uses the current total rain counter from the station and subtracts from it the value that it held 24 hours ago. Today's rain works in the same way but subtracts the value that the counter held at midnight
It looks like your counter went down slightly (!) towards the end of that graph.

How could it go down, I see it but...
And isn’t 4.064 not 4.1 (like it is in ‘Today’).
Edit:
It did not go down here.

If you look in the diags files and the September log, you can see the rain counter values as read from the station, so you can see what it's been up to. Bear in mind that the station works in inches, so there's always going to be the chance of a rounding error of 0.1 mm either way.Tonky wrote:How could it go down, I see it but...

The rainfall in the "Last 24hrs" is new isn't it in the last couple of builds? I think it even moved up the display Rainfall list on the last build.
It could have been there all along and I just overlooked it all this time.
Anyway, I like it.

I get that tiny dip in the rain graph showing at the time Cumulus is powered up in the morning (provided it has rained )
It's so small to be negligible. Possibly a consequence of the correction factor I've applied?

Possibly, yes. Could be just the rounding, if it's a very small difference.Ned wrote:I get that tiny dip in the rain graph showing at the time Cumulus is powered up in the morning (provided it has rained )
