Thanks for the info - I've tried a few systems and yawcam comes out the favourite and only problem I find is removing the mouse over effects.
I tried tincam which seemed ok but wouldn't stream without an audio feed and it never could find any microphone I tried.
WebcamXP couldn't find either of my cameras though I didn't persever with trying it.

I am using a video cam and also a logitech c270 webcam with 2 instances of yawcam running on one pc using 2 seperate users.
www.graemsay.org.uk (video camera is the one zoomed in on the pier)
Must get round to putting the weather station back online!

Let me know how you go on and if ok I'll update when I get chance.

I've installed it now, but don't notice any real differences, except it's faster to load up

That's interesting....do you login in as one, and then switch users to the other and run it under both users?

I currently have to cams, but one is running on YAWCam, the other on WebcamXP....I prefer YAWCam though, just wish it supported multiple cameras.

What mouse over problems do you have?

Yes, I just log on to either user name, I am using remote desktop over the lan as the server is away down the garden in the workshop. One user has ais (ships plotter software) and yawcam running, the second user has just yawcam running at the moment as I need to get new batteries fitted in the weather station.

Depending on your OS you may be able to run the second copy using the runas command (use the default option of loading the second users profile).

Any chance this version might fix the FTP error that asks for my WU cam user and pass every few hours? Anyone else having that problem?

EDIT: I went ahead and installed it. I'll let it run overnight and see how it does..

your FTP password?

I've never had this trouble at all....sounds like an FTP setting needs adjusting

These are the settings I have if you want to give them a go

Yawcam supports multiple cameras.
Short info....
copy the whole Yawcam directory to fx yawcam2.
In both dirs edit launcher.cfg with notepad and add "service" without the "" after yawcam.Main
in both dirs edit service_profile and change to fx d:\cams\yawcamsettings\yawcam for cam1 and d:\cams\yawcamsettings\yawcam2 for second instance.
Create a .yawcam dir in each of those directories.
Yawcam will save all setup files in those dirs.
In both .yawcam dirs create an empty disablerunningcheck.txt file to avoid Yawcam to check if for already running instance.
Edit your shortcuts to point to correct program working dir. (where you launch yawcam.exe)
